The Strive for Five Senior and Single Parent Assistance Program is a food relief program that has been in operation since March 2020. Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, Whitfield Catering & Events LLC has sought to help 500 families in need every Saturday. With donations from community members, church officials, and the efforts of supporting team members, over 25,000 meals have been prepared. With the Strive for Five program in place, Members of the borough of Brooklyn have had an infallible resource of comfort food in these very discomforting times.
